Hello Dollies—also known as Magic Bars—are a beloved classic in Southern kitchens. These sweet and chewy dessert bars come together effortlessly with layers of buttery graham cracker crumbs, rich chocolate chips, and sweet flaked coconut. Sweetened condensed milk binds it all together into a gooey, golden treat that’s perfect for potlucks, holidays, or an easy weeknight dessert.
Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 cup coconut

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt butter directly in a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Evenly sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the melted butter to form a crust.
Layer chocolate chips on top of the crumbs, followed by the coconut.
Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and bubbly.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
