This easy divinity recipe skips the tricky egg whites and uses marshmallow creme for a guaranteed light and airy result every time. It’s a holiday classic that’s surprisingly simple and always impressive.
Ingredients

2 cups sugar

½ cup water

Pinch of salt

2 cups marshmallow creme

½ to 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and salt.
Bring to a rolling boil and continue boiling for exactly 2 minutes.
Place marshmallow creme in a large mixing bowl.
Carefully pour the hot syrup mixture all at once into the bowl with the marshmallow creme.
Stir continuously until the candy begins to lose its gloss and thickens slightly.
Fold in the chopped nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool and set.
Recipe Note
- Pecans or walnuts are traditional, but you can leave the nuts out for a smoother candy.
- If the mixture doesn’t thicken fast enough, beat it a little longer to encourage setting.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
